Helping brilliant minds discover healthcare solutions

carter-rosetrees

Rosetrees is a private UK charity

Supporting cutting edge medical research for more than 30 years.

The aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of society.

Currently, around 300 projects are supported, from seedcorn 'out of the box' research ideas to large awards, many with co-funders.

The focus is on testing new ideas across the spectrum of medical research to bring the earliest patient benefit.

Our Philosophy

We use a venture philanthropy approach to promote new ideas. We fund initial seedcorn grants to generate preliminary data that can result in further funding. We also fund larger projects and interdisciplinary grants.
