Grant Schemes

We fund new ideas either in basic science that will generate further funding from major funders or translational research that will lead to major advances in medical treatment.

We support researchers who think ‘out of the box’ with a good chance of success. We fund a diverse range of grants, from smaller seedcorn grants, funding early discovery research  to major project grants and interdisciplinary awards funding more progressed translational research. Applications for these schemes must be made directly to Rosetrees via our Flexigrant application portal.  We also fund early career fellowships at specific universities. Applications for these fellowships must be made directly to the host university. If your project does not fall within the remit of any of our calls, please get in touch with us as we can consider ad hoc applications under certain conditions.
